Stager - Event Technology Platform Review
Event ticketing connected to planning, marketing, guest lists and door operations.
Stager brings ticket sales together with event planning and marketing in the vendor's product overview. Its ticketing feature list describes online sales, ticket scanning, guest lists, memberships, door sales and reporting. That combination is worth investigating for a venue where programming, promotion and entrance staff need to coordinate; it does not mean each workflow will suit every team without setup. Confirm who owns attendee data, who can export it and whether your existing marketing permissions and reporting process can be carried over. Include staff from both the box office and campaigns in a configured demonstration.
The online ticketing page describes sales for multi-day festivals or club nights, ticket types for different phases and codes that reveal restricted tickets in the shop. It also describes a virtual queue for peak sales and the option for a buyer to purchase without creating an account. Ask to see these functions configured for your own ticket allocation, especially when guest-list additions and public sales occur close together. The public feature description is not a performance guarantee for a particular sale.
Stager's ticketing overview also lists entrance scanning and on-site door sales. For implementation, specify which staff can refund an order, admit a guest or modify a ticket at the door, and what reports finance receives afterward. Walk through a canceled barcode and an amended guest-list entry with the team that will actually staff the entrance. Confirm supported devices and connectivity requirements with Stager rather than assuming a feature label establishes offline capabilities.
The published pricing page includes a per-ticket entry band, custom pricing at higher annual ticket volumes, charges for additional users and marketing messages, and separate transaction charges for supported methods. It lists iDEAL (Wero), credit cards, Bancontact and PayPal in the ticket shop. Fees and names may change; request an up-to-date quote based on ticket volume and payment mix, and clarify merchant onboarding, payout timing, refunds and chargebacks. A per-ticket figure alone is not a full cost comparison.
